| May 6, 7 and 8, 2010 This comedy/drama tells the story of Mrs. Savage who has been left ten million dollars by her late husband. She wants to make the best use of it, in spite of the efforts of her grown-up stepchildren to get their hands on it. When the greedy stepchildren can’t get the money, they commit her to a "sanatorium." Although the mood of the play is comedy, there are deep lessons about marginalizing people who are different. The audience is left with a feeling that the neglected virtues of kindness and affection have not been entirely lost in a world motivated only by greed and dishonesty. Dinner is offered at the Friday (May 7) and Saturday (May 8) performances.
